This month, and every month, we honor all the women across the world rewriting the hospitality industry. This week’s episode is a roundup of all the women that I’ve been honored to interview on How To Share.

Their stories, their expertise, and their advice, will inspire all hoteliers to make our industry better than before. These voices serve as a reminder to all women, that there’s no ceiling to your dreams—in our industry, and far beyond.

A year ago, when our industry became one of the pandemic’s greatest casualties, I launched my podcast. I felt like hospitality needed my voice, and the voice of other women, more than ever. In April of 2020, when the world stopped in so many ways, I brought my very first guests on the show.

My key takeaways:

1. Hospitality needs our voices, now more than ever. Women are uniquely equipped to face crisis with composure. It’s hard to explain why that is…and maybe it’s because we’re nurturers, or maybe it’s because we’re emotionally intelligent and can read the room.

2. There’s no limit when it comes to what we as women in hospitality can do. If you feel like there is a ceiling, I want you to go back and listen to the full version of one of these clips that spoke to you today. Maybe you’ll go so far as to reach out to one of these women, and learn more. Break through that ceiling.

3. When you do break that ceiling, which you will, bring another woman along. As Robin Staten so aptly put it, “We’re equally as powerful, we can build our own tables to sit at, and we can build them long enough for other women to join us.”

As always, keep sharing your stories. Hospitality needs your voice.
